A Good Band is Easy to Kill
I can't tell you much about Beulah; but I do know that in the short amount of time that I've listened to them (since June?), they've really grown on me. Unfortunately, they broke up in 2004 after the release of Yoko.
However, Miles Kurosky (the frontman) is nearly done with recording his first solo. Bad news is that he had to have a few surgeries over the past few months. I hope he gets well.
And now the point of this post, some Beulah songs. I'm putting one from each album, although I will say my favorite is The Coast is Never Clear. Obviously, I highly recommend you buy one or more of these.
"I Love John, She Loves Paul" off of Handsome Western States (1997)
It's out of print, but you can find a few copies here
"Emma Blowgun's Last Stand" off of When Your Heartstrings Break (1999)
Buy it!
"A Good Man is Easy to Kill" off of The Coast is Never Clear (2001)
Buy it!
"Fooled with the Wrong Guy" off of Yoko (2003)
Buy it!
For good measure, I'm going to promote their dvd as well. It's where the title of this post came from.
Buy it too!
