Beaten Awake / The Man I Fell In Love With

There's a band from Kent, Ohio called Beaten Awake. I wish I could tell you more about them, but all I know is that they are on the guy from the Black Keys' record label and that they seem to open for bands I like at the Grog Shop. I sadly only have one of their songs (which will be at the end of this post) and have had to rely on their myspace for listening to other stuff. Next time I see them, I'm definitely going to buy their album, Let's Get Simplified. Recently, I've been listening to a band that contained some of Beaten Awake's members called The Man I Fell In Love With (who will now be referred to as TMIFILW). I really don't know much about TMIFILW either, but I do have an entire album of their's and I enjoy it quite a bit which is why I'm making this post, obviously.
Long story short, here's some music.

TMIFILW - "The Fleet of the Armada" and
TMIFILW - "Brantastic" off of Dis Yourself (I have no idea where to buy this.)
Beaten Awake - "Browns Town" off of Let's Get Simplified (I think?)
Beaten Awake's myspace.
Beaten Awake being Daniel Johnston's backing band for "Walking the Cow." (I was at this show, and it was great.)

EDIT::
I'm pretty sure all of those TMIFILW links are dead. Since the releases are no longer available, I'm just going to post all that I have.
